Introduction
Chan Wai Mui is passionate in pottery making and comics drawing despite she experiences spasm and intellectual disability. Her vivid works show great varieties of themes among which animals and flowers are her favorite. Wai Mui, being gentle and good at observing, always injects liveliness into her works, which can be seen from her pottery vase “Get through the sea of bitterness” that displays the motion of overcoming challenges, as well as Wai Mui’s aesthetic skills and passion towards life, where layered colours further enriches the theme.
